E0149                                 THE STRATEGY GAME

I am Paquan Om-Erel and with me is REGG. He is the one who finally got an opening and delivered the Strategy Game to the children of Earth via Loyani.

We are trusting you with this game. Our wish is that it becomes distributed.

In as much as it has an Archetypical healing effect on amongst other things boredom and restlessness.

In our domain it is called "The Life and Fortune"

The cards are the "Life" and the dice are the "Fortune". All earthly life experience is contained in this game.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The following is needed to play the game: 1 pack of cards, 6 dice

The play is divided into: 4 games = 1 set

First one to get 3 sets = the Winner

1st. game: Each player is given 5 cards

2nd. game: Each player is given 7 cards

3rd. game: Each player is given 8 cards

4th. game: Each player is given 9 cards

GAME 1

Each player is given 5 cards. Lay them out as below

The idea of game 1 is to get rid of the cards first. You get rid of them in this way:

If the number on the card is the same as that of the position in which it has been put, the card can be removed. OBS: ! All the picture cards can be removed at once. (Jack, Queen, King) But this is valid only for Game 1.

Example:

1 of Spade is the one left over.

To get rid of the rest of the cards in game 1: the dice come into use !

Spade is removed by distributed dice numbers, maximum 2 pairs - no series. (Scattered)

Example: 4, 3, 5, 1, 4, 3,

Hearts: is removed by at least 3 of the same number.

Diamonds: is removed by a series, maximum 1 pair in addition.

Clubs: Is removed by 3 of same number + 2 of same number, or 3 of like number + 3 of like number.

                                     ..........................................

Each player must throw once + one dice may be re-thrown.

                                      ..........................................

The one who gets rid of his cards first is the WINNER of this game.

NB! All players must throw an equal number of times, the game may become a draw.

                                       ..........................................

The winner receives the sum of the remaining cards of his opponents.

Example: Player A                Player B                         Player C

6 of hearts                 Ace of Spades             9 of Diamonds

7 of Spades Ace of Clubs

You are player A - you get amongst others. 1, 1, 1. The 3 of the same number removes your hearts - you have none left.

The other two players throw the dice, but can’t get the combination right. - You have now won Game 1.

B C

The winning sum is 1+7 9+1

8 + 10 = 18

NB! Ace (1) has only the value 1, not 14.

GAME 2.

Each player receives 7 cards. Lay them in a row and turn them.

Example: (Only the numbers, not the colours count/)

Divide the cards into 3 sums, i.e.: three divisions. You get rid of the cards by getting the same number on the dice as you have on the cards. NB! Again the idea is to get rid of the cards first. Always divide the cards 2 + 2 + 3 cards. 3 cards always last.

Example:

Decide how many dice you want to use to get rid of the first two cards. Here you must throw twice.

Thumb rule: 2nd. game = 2 throws.

..........................................

In the example here ( 21 ) you have decided to throw with 5 dice and get: 5, 5, 5, 6, 3 = 24 No, too high.

Next throw gets: 5, 5, 6, 2, 3 = 21, Yes, these cards can be discarded.

NB! You won’t get any more throws, even if you got rid of the cards by the correct sum.

..........................................

The next time you take the next two cards.

The winner (Remember all must have thrown the same number of times) - gets the sum of the remaining cards from the opponents.

All have thrown an equal number of times - you have got rid of all your cards.

                Opponent A                                                         Opponent B

The winner sum is 37 + 15 = 52

==

GAME 3.

The players are given 8 cards each:

Throw now all 6 dice. If the sum can be divided by two, then chose one card amongst your RED ONES.

Example: The dice give a total of 20. - 20 : 2 = 10 (Integer = RED)

If the total is not divisible by two, then a BLACK CARD must be chosen.

Example: The dice give a total of 23. - 23 : 2 = 11,5 (Not an integer = BLACK)

Example:     A                                     B                                     C

You have got the total of 23 = Black card. The arrows indicate black cards. Decide how many dice you will use to get the double sum of this your card (only one, remember) If you throw the right number for this card, you get the double sum of your opponents card in the same position.

Here there is only one throw.

Example: If all players have thrown

equal number of times and you are the only one to get the right value on the dice (double of the cards value), your total in this example will be:

King of diamonds = 13 x 2 = 26

6 of hearts = 6 x 2 = 12

                                ----

                                 38

                                ===

A = 0    B = 0    C = 38     NB! The type of the card does not mean anything, just the number of the card.

GAME 4.

Each player receives 9 cards:

Turn the cards around !

Chose two directions, according to the sum you want redeemed.

The sums are 14 and 19

Chose how many dice you want to throw.

Everyone must throw the same number of times (it may come out undecided here)

One throw per person. The first one to redeem the two sums becomes the winner of game 4.

Those who have also redeemed one direction also receive points

In this way you calculate the points in game 4:

                            A                             B                             C

A is the winner ! She receives winning points from her opponents in her own winning directions - look here:

                        A                             B                             C

Add the cards in the direction of the arrows - the sum thus obtained is her winning sum

NB! Not the sum of her own cards - only the sum of the opponents cards along the arrows.

Here the sum is not multiplied by 2 ! - As in Game 3.

The loser who has redeemed the 3 cards along one of her chosen directions gets the sum - not of her own 3 cards - but the sum of the cards of her opponents in the same direction as her own redeemed cards.

Example: B has redeemed her middle line. She then receives the sum of the cards along the middle line of A and C NB! There may be several players getting points - not only the winner.

                            A                             B                             C

With this the first set is over

----------------------------

                                            A                             B                             C

GAME:

5 Cards                                 --                             --                             -- *

7 Cards                                 --                             --                              --

8 Cards                                 --                             --                               --

9 Cards                                 --*                            --                             --

SUM

SET

Put a star behind the winner of the game ( * )

If it is a draw between two of the players then the hit difference counts.

The first to three sets, is the match winner !
